Matthew has been a pivotal figure in the animation industry for over 25 years. His career began as an assistant on Space Ghost Coast to Coast, leading him to design and direct for Adult Swim hits like “The Brak Show”, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and The Venture Bros., where he designed and animated iconic characters like Master Shake and Carl, along with numerous villains and supporting characters. His creative touch also extended to Netflix series such as “Paradise PD”, “The Prince,” and “Mulligan”.
Jenkins has not only contributed to the visual style of these shows but has also directed three original series openings for “Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1,” “Aqua TV Show Show,” and “Aqua Teen Forever.” His influence reaches feature films as well, serving as Animation Director for “Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm” and three Tubi movies: “Pastacolypse,” “Millennial Hunter,” and “Big Bruh.”
His portfolio isn’t limited to series television and film; Matthew has directed beloved commercial bumpers for Cartoon Network and contributed to DC Comics’ Cartoon Network Block Party books, illustrating on “Dexter’s Laboratory,” “Space Ghost Coast to Coast,” and “Scooby-Doo,” among others.
