Dan is a director and comic book artist whose storytelling career started in late 1991 when Cable and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld hired the 18-year-old to join Extreme Studios and the newly formed Image Comics.
Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan has worked on several of the comic industry’s top titles, such as Bloodstrike, Youngblood, Supreme, and the Berzerkers at Extreme Studios. Witchblade, Darkness, and The Gear Station for Image Comics. Spider-man, Wolverine, What-if?!, and Generation X at Marvel, and at DC Comics, Dan worked on Superman, The Power Puff Girls, and more recently on He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse.
In the summer of 2018, IDW Publishing released Dan’s first graphic novel, The Grave. In 2010, Dan made his directorial debut on the HBO series The Ricky Gervais Show. Dan also worked for Mattel as the Supervising Director for the animated content for Monster High, Everafter High, Enchantimals, Hot Wheels, and Max Steel. Dan was also the storyboard artist for The The CW Legacies show and DC’s Doom Patrol. Look for Dan’s latest comics project, as he brings back his creator-owned book from the 90s: Black Flag.
